Essential Travel & Entry Requirements
Seychelles does not issue traditional entry visas, but every guest must satisfy their modern, digital border requirements to secure a smooth arrival.
Mandatory Travel Authorization (eTA) Although visa-free, all international travelers (including children and infants) must obtain an approved digital Travel Authorization prior to departure. Applications can be submitted up to 30 days before travel via the official portal (
seychelles.govtas.com) or the Seychelles E-Border app. Standard processing fee is ~€10.90 with a 12-to-24-hour turnaround, though expedited 60-minute options are available.
Passports must be valid for the entire duration of the intended stay until the traveler returns to their country of origin. No additional months of validity are required, but the document must be in pristine condition.
To complete the online eTA, clients will need to upload: A high-quality digital passport photo (or clear selfie), Confirmed airline booking documentation showing exact arrival and departure dates, Confirmed accommodation vouchers for every night of the stay (must be government-approved luxury properties or yacht charters).
Visitors must possess a minimum of USD $150 (or equivalent) per day to cover their stay, easily demonstrable via credit card access or bank statements.
There are no general vaccination requirements. However, a Yellow Fever vaccination certificate is strictly mandatory if the guest is arriving from, or has transited for more than 12 hours through, a Yellow Fever endemic country.
